hiSoft Moves To Top 35 in IAOP's Annual Ranking of Global Outsourcing 100
(Beijing China, April 23, 2007) hiSoft Technology International Ltd has recently been ranked number 34th for 2006 according to The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) Annual Ranking of Global Outsourcing 100, moving up over 30 spots (from number 68th in 2005). hiSoft was recognized primarily for its expanding size and rapid corporate growth and is only one of two China-based IT outsourcing providers to make the top 35. IBM, Capgemini, and Hewlett-Packard were ranked in the top three.
The Global Outsourcing 100 defines the standard for excellence in outsourcing service delivery, based on four criteria: size and growth, customer references, organizational competencies, and management capabilities. When talking about the China’s potential comparing with Bollywood in India, Jacob said: “I think that with the Bollywood in India is very established and their content pretty much focused only on the Indian audience. Whereas I think that the Chinese content creators are focused more on a global audience so it will be appealing to America, to South America, to Europe and Eastern Europe so I think the opportunity is much bigger for the China content”.
